Christmas Activation

“Fresh and innovative” was the approach that Ogilvy wanted for the Xmas Card Campaign of their client OTE GLOBE, across 35 countries. The main idea was to have a digital, sci-fi representation of Earth, that the user could interact with. The end result, had to be a web app that could be easily accessed by anyone, without having to download an app and of course it had to be responsive and cross platform!!!! Not an easy task… so, in order to pull off something like that, we combined everything in a seamless way, 3D Models, Eberus and some Custom Coding or as we like to call it “The secret sauce”.

We created the 3d models using a PBR pipeline, to ensure seamless visual results across all devices, we imported them to our proprietary software “EBERUS” for the final look and with the magic of custom coding from our in-house team, our project came to life!!!

Users had the opportunity to ”follow the journey” of this year’s OTEGLOBE wish across the globe. In every spin the globe would randomly stop in one of the 35 partner-countries, followed by the client’s wish “may the new year be an adventurous journey” each time translated in the countries native language.

The Feedback we got from the users was overwhelming and the engagement went through the roof, users were interacting with the web app, approximately three minutes on average!!!
